Also if you can find and download a copy of 'InDesign Visual Quick Start Guide'. You can get it as an e-book and a paperback. I would strongly advise learning how to use InDesign to layout your reports. Its a great program.

Yeah bro it has some wicked table features. My fav is the "convert text to table" feature. Say you have a table that you did up in Word or Excel you can select all the text in the table, copy and paste it into InDesign, go >table>convert text to table>the default settings usually work best>ok> and there you are a new EASY TO MANAGE table in InDesign.
yeah InDesign is niiiiice. I hate illustrator though, I just do most of it in Indesign.
